Why "Kairos"

Kairos: the right moment to cast off

In ancient Greek, kairos means the opportune moment — the instant when conditions align and it's time to act. That's what we chase on every trip out: the right breeze, the right light on the Alps, the right heading for Chillon or Ouchy. The Norse-inspired knotwork in our logo, with its dragon-ship figure, captures that same spirit: an old, instinctive way of reading the water, acting on the moment rather than the clock.
